Job Title       Tech Lead (5-8 yrs.) / ARCHITECT (8-10 yrs.)

Roles and Responsibilities

Core responsibility of an incumbent in Architect roles is to design an architecture solution which meets the needs of the customer.

Different levels of Architect role vary in proficiency, expertise.

At higher levels incumbent is more responsible for solution design, consulting the client on appropriate solution, defining and evaluating the architecture.

At L1 Prime responsibility is to work on implementing architecture or design, implementing reuse / automation strategy and reviewing the design.

The incumbent at this level contributes on solution definition but is not accountable or decision holder of the same.

Skills and Job Requirements

-->Solution Architecture (L1)-

1. Ability to take the functional and non-functional requirements and propose solution that will be able to meet the requirements.

2. Work with the design team to realize the architecture by providing suggestions on design options. 3. Review and validate the design decisions taken by the design teams.

4. Work with client architecture teams in - validate the non-functional requirements -discussing and providing inputs on architecture options

5. Present the architecture and design to necessary stake holders as required.

6. Working experience with at least one common SDLC methods (RUP, Velociq)

-->Data Integration Architecture (L1)

-Should have good theoretical understanding of the technology concepts

Should be able to develop technology solutions to meet low and medium complexity project specific business requirements

Experience Range: 0-1 years of experience in developing technology level solutions like architecture, framework, etc.

-->DW Data Architecture (L1)

-Should have good theoretical understanding of the technology concepts.

Should be able to develop technology solutions to meet low and medium complexity project specific business requirements.

 Experience Range: 0-1 years of experience in developing technology level solutions like architecture, framework, etc.

-->Data Integration Design (L1)

-Experience in ETL framework definition, Architecture, evaluation and comparison of tools.

Experience in preparation of solution framework, whitepapers and knowledge / competency documents.

Interface with ETL product vendors, customers and technical support groups and represent in various internal and external forums.

2years experience in ETL consulting or experience in Design & Implementation of 2 ETL development projects."

-->Branding and Thought Leadership (L1)-Participate in conferences, blog, publish white papers, conduct PoV sessions for customers

-->Datastage (L3)

-ETL Pre-requisite Should has expertise in understanding the ETL concepts. Should have moderate knowledge of at least one database tool.

Should be up-to-date on the upgrade options, enhancements, add-ons and features in the ETL tool with a view to improving the productivity.

Should have understanding of the range of options and best practices for common ETL design techniques such as change data capture, key generation and optimization Tool-specific:

Should have worked more than 3+ years on IBM Web Sphere Datastage.

Should have knowledge in designing the mapping and end-to-end data flow in a mapping. Experience Range: 5+
